The Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony Guild is happy to again sponsor The Acousticatz. These very popular performers are scheduled for the Woodlands’ stage Friday, October 15th at 7:30 p.m. with $10 tickets for public sales beginning October 4th.  Guild members are offered advance ticket sales and for additional ticket information call 922-2567.

The Acousticatz are steeped in bluegrass, but tinged by pop, jazz and country. The group offers a refreshing, wholesome approach that crosses demographic lines and embraces young and old alike. Performing a blend of original and traditional favorites, they have enjoyed extensive touring throughout Arkansas and the US as well as maintaining a brisk schedule for the Arkansas Arts Council Arts On Tour program. In addition, they are a featured group with the Mid-America Arts Alliance in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. Featured the last four years at the American Music and Craftsmanship festival at Silver Dollar City, they are proud members of the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Majority funding for the Guild’s philanthropic work which includes music scholarships, gifts of band instruments, band trips and other area school musical activities along with donations to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, is derived from memberships and individual donations to the organization. You can be a part of this musical outreach into the communities surrounding Hot Springs by joining nearly thirteen-hundred others by becoming a member.
