Where fine music is a way of life!
This annual event showcases the best of Henderson State’s musical talent. This year this wonderful program will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Hot Springs Village.
Tickets are free, but please register so we can plan for the reception following the concert.
Soloists include: Bobby Humphries, a percussionist from Everton, AR, who will perform a marimba transcription of the Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso; Casey Williams, a tenor from Malvern, AR, will perform “Una furtiva lagrima” from Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore; Hunter Mabery, a pianist from Murfreesboro, AR, will perform the first movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor; Kenneth Harris, a tubist from Texarkana, TX, will perform a transcription of Capuzzi’s Concerto for Double Bass; Josiah Burns, a baritone from Van Buren, AR, will perform “Bella siccome un angelo” from Donizetti’s Don Pasquale; Zaquary Hale, a flutist from Bryant, AR, will perform two movements from Rutter’s Suite Antique; and Aaron Schaefer, a tubist from Navasota, TX, will perform The Carnival of Venice.
