Where fine music is a way of life!
Join us for a wonderful dinner in Christ of the Hills Fellowship Hall - catered by Chef Johnna. We will then retire to the sanctuary for a fantastic evening of Irving Berlin music brought to us by the same All Star Cast that brought us the Salute to Gershwin last season.
Leading us down memory lane will be The Bob Boyd Sounds with Bob Boyd on piano, David Higginbotham on bass, Randy McDonald on drums, and Dr. Sim Flora on trombone and flute. All four form a vocal group that has been compared to the Four Freshmen and the Modernaires. Joining this group will be Earl Hesse on Sax and Clarinet and the popular Shirley Chauvin on vocals. Cole Porter said, "Irving Berlin has no 'place' in American music. He IS American music!"
Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM and the show will begin at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 for the dinner and $10 for the show. The event will be held at Christ of the Hills Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village. We are delighted that Ike Eisenhauer Insurance Agency, Inc is our event sponsor for this wonderful evening.
You may register and purchase tickets on our website. Sales for dinner tickets end on March 13. Tickets purchased March 13 or later will be held at the will call table at the event. Several board members will also be selling tickets.
