Dear Friends of the HS/HSV Symphony Guild,

It is the time of year that we traditionally would be looking forward to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra visiting our Woodlands Auditorium to present “Christmas in the Village.”  However, the extraordinary circumstances of the year 2020 mean that we will miss this special afternoon together. 

               In the past several years, the Guild has sponsored a food drive at the concert, benefiting our three local area schools, Jessieville, Fountain Lake and Mountain Pine.  Many of the students rely on their meals at school to maintain good health.  When the schools are not in session, these donations greatly help to fill the gap.  This year, the needs while sometimes a little different are equally if not more crucial.

               We invite you to consider through the Symphony Guild helping to support the food needs of our local area school children.  Any donation will be appreciated.  You may make your donation online by “registering” for this event or by mailing us a check. The minimum online donation is $6, payable by credit card. If you prefer to send a check, please make it payable to HS/HSV Symphony Guild and write “School Food Drive” on the memo line. Our mailing address is PO Box 8354, Hot Springs National Park, AR  71910-8354. Your donation will be divided equally among the three schools.  However, if you wish to contribute to a specific school, you may indicate so online, or write the school name on the memo line of your check.  Please complete your donations by December 10.

               Thank you for your continued support of our efforts to sponsor the Arkansas Symphony and to foster music education in our local area schools.  Please stay safe during this upcoming holiday season and throughout the new year.  We are committed to continuing our mission just as soon as possible.
